Place your hands, surrender, and smile.”

— Hyakuten Inamoto

I have always been sensitive to energy — in people, in spaces, in the unseen currents that move between us. When I discovered Reiki, it felt less like learning something new and more like finally having the tools to work with something I had always felt.

Since completing my Shinpiden (Master Teacher) degree in 2019, I have offered private sessions, led group experiences, and trained dozens of practitioners in the gentle but profound art of energy healing. Whether you're curious about experiencing Reiki for the first time or ready to begin your training journey, you're in the right place.

What is Reiki?

The Japanese word, Reiki, translates to mean "universal life force energy." It is the vital life force that flows through and around all living things.

Reiki Ryoho is the practice of hands on healing by means of channeling this energy.

Radiant Rest

Experience the combination of deep renewal through the healing touch of Reiki and the nurturing stillness of restorative yoga all in one!

Each session is a curated blend of hands-on Reiki combined with deeply supported restorative poses, designed to calm and regulate the nervous system. Guided by your individual or small-group needs, the practice creates space for your body to unwind and your energy to rebalance.

Depending on client needs, sessions may also incorporate practices of breathwork, meditation, Yoga Nidra, gentle movement and/or stretches.

“I didn’t know what to expect from yesterday’s session, but it resulted in one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in years since hitting perimenopause. So I think you helped to unclog some bad energy or something! I’ll definitely be booking another session.” —Reiki client

REIKI LEVEL 1

Reiki may be defined as the divine, universal life force energy present in all living things. The practice of Reiki (called Reiki Ryoho) involves the gentle transfer of this healing energy from the practitioner to the recipient. Reiki supports the body’s natural healing processes and can help restore physical, emotional, and spiritual balance and well-being.

Komyo ReikiDo is a traditional Japanese system of Reiki founded in 1998 by Hyakuten Inamoto, a Buddhist monk of the Jodo Shu (Pure Land) sect. This training follows the original teachings of Mikao Usui—considered the founder of Reiki—and emphasizes healing not only the body, but the mind and spirit. Its teachings focus on self-healing, gratitude, compassion, and living in alignment with the Reiki precepts as a path toward greater peace and awakening. Considered the “keep it simple” method, Komyo ReikiDo strips away many Western adaptations to focus on simplicity, healing, and spiritual development.
